Beautifully different.
A good idea requires people to make it happen. Without people, an idea remains a simple, though beautiful dream. Side by side’s idea is brought to life by its team of people, who are passionate about and share in the idea. In 2001, the designer Sabine Meyer launched side by side in cooperation with the Caritas Wendelstein Werkstätten, the design agency fpm munich and a group of freelance designers.
The heart of the idea is the production of a high-end design line at Caritas Wendelstein Werkstätten in Raubling and at twelfe other workshops in the region. People with physical and mental disabilities produce high quality products with one thing in mind, to make our lives beautifully different.
